The big terrace at the "Obermarkt" connects the beautiful old town with the Barbarossa. It offers place for around 100 people.

The "Obermarkt" used to be an important trading and transit centre. Whilst the Middle Ages saw wood and wine being traded here as well as the execution of sentendes for breaking the law, today you are invited to while away a beautiful summer night after an eventful day - maybe over a glass of local wine?

On hot summer days the parasols give plenty of shade for relaxing hours in the heart of Constance. In the time from April until October the restaurant Obermarkt opens daily depending on the weather conditions.
