Arrival

Our hotel is located directly in the pedestrian zone, so most navigation systems cannot show the route correctly. To find the right way you can enter "Obere Laube 51" into your GPS as a reference point. Directly behind house number 51 turn to the right into Paradiesstrasse, which leads to "Obermarkt" in front of the hotel. This is the approved access to the hotel which you can use to enter and exit.

In autumn winter and spring, you can park your car on the square in front of the hotel for 10 minutes to load or unload. In summer (when our outdoor terrace is set up), please park your car on Paradiesstr. in front of the terrace (marked green in the picture).
Stopping or parking in the fire department access (marked red in the picture) is not permitted at any time and will result in a €50 fine.

Car parking

You are welcome to request a parking space through the hotel. We rent a total of 14 parking spaces between 200 and 500 m dinstance from the hotel in two different parking garages. A hotel room reservation is no guarantee for a parking space in the garage. The cost per parking space and night (3 p.m. the day of arrival to 1 p.m. the day of departure) is €14.00.

If all of our parking spaces are already booked out, we will be glad to help you choose another suitable parking space.
Public parking is available in the following parking garages:

  • Altstadtparkhaus
  • Fischmarkt
  • Augustiner Parkhaus
  • Marktstätte
  • Döbeleplatz

A little further away but much cheaper:

  • Benediktiner Parkhaus (15 min. walking)
  • P&R parking lot at the Bodenseeforum (10 min. by bus)

Bike Parking

We offer the option of parking your bikes free of charge, dry and safe in our bike garage:

  • Video surveillance 24/7
  • a dry place for your bike
  • Locked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
  • free number code lockers for charging e-bike batteries or storage for helmets, gloves...

Our garage has space for around 20-25 bikes. In summer the garage can sometimes be quite full, but reservations are not possible. We generally recommend locking your bikes individually.

We take no responsibility for bikes parked in the garage. From October 7th, 2024 to April 1st, 2025 we can only accommodate a limited number of bikes, because of construction work in the garage.
